Cub Scout Pack 20 in Provencal is “Spreadin’ The Love” by collecting 89 jars of Peanut Butter to help Miss Louisiana Jazzland Katelyn Yopp and Miss Louisiana Fleur de Lis Princess Brenley Metoyer for the Miss Louisiana Serves: Day of Service. The jars will be donated to the Northeast Louisiana Food Bank.
Did you know that peanut butter is a shelf-stable source of protein that food banks love and need when fighting in the struggle against hunger? Often, the amount of peanut butter on the shelves runs our long before the expiration date on the labels. It’s just an important staple for local families to have.
The Miss Louisiana Serves: Day of Service occurs on April 7 as Miss America and Miss America’s Outstanding Teen contestants and volunteers across serve their local communities while raising funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
