The Cane River Creole Heritage Pageant celebrated its fourth year Saturday, June 23rd at the Natchitoches Events Center. The pageant, a celebration of the historic Creole culture of the Cane River area, featured 14 young ladies competing for honors in several age categories. In addition to the competition, the pageant’s audience was treated to several performances and presentations.
