As high school football creeps in to season a new head coach will take the reigns at Natchitoches Central. Bryon Keller is entering his first year coaching at NCHS.
However, this is not his first time in the head coach role after coaching at Lakeview for two seasons. Before Lakeview, Keller coached at St. James
Keller is bringing a new offense and defense to the team and “get the kids to play hard which will help the wins fall in to place.”
“For the season we’re looking pretty good,” the head coach said. “I feel really confident in our starting 11 on offense and defense.”
Players have already started to notice a difference in the team since the change in coaching staff.
“We’ve bonded better,” said junior wide receiver Carlow Moses. “We’ve stopped [acting as] individuals and became a team.”
Natchitoches Central will kick off their 2018 season at home against North DeSoto on Aug. 31.
Um, are those GIRLS down in front? Are they players? Are we creeping into the 21st century?
