American Cancer Society Tribute of Hope: Debbie McCrory

Debbie McCrory

One of the American Cancer Society’s Tributes of Hope is Debbie
McCrory of Natchitoches. Debbie has been a Customer Service Specialist
at CP-Tel for over 19 years. In March of 2017, Debbie was diagnosed
with breast cancer. She underwent 2 lumpectomies and 35 radiation
treatments. In January of 2018, she received word that the cancer had
returned and in February of 2018, she had a bi-lateral mastectomy. She
has not had to have any additional chemo or radiation treatments since
surgery. “I couldn’t have gotten through all this without the love and
support from family and friends, especially her great-niece Makena who
never left my side, my sister Sharon, and my mom,” Debbie stated.

The Belles and Beaus on the Cane Gala will be held on Saturday,
September 15, 2018 at the Melrose Plantation. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
and the program begins at 7:00 p.m. This event will feature live
entertainment, delicious food catered by Lasyone’s, a live and silent
auction, and most importantly, the opportunity to recognize our
distinguished group of honorees. Visit
www.bellesandbeausnatchitoches.org or call 337-237-3797 to purchase
tickets.
