Drake Owens of the Natchitoches Rotary Club introduced the speakers for the meeting, Justin Krouse and Cade Gentry from the Cane River Brewing Company. They discussed how original class projects in a restaurant management class at Northwestern led to an idea to create, plan and construct the Cane River Brewing Company. They shared the history of the business, location, products, and brewing process. They noted the facility will be open to the public in the near future to sample and purchase their beers.

it will be great to have something new here in town, lord knows we need
fresh things to do .Best of luck guys !!
How cool to have another business that might draw in tourist money. And it would be all year long, not seasonal. And how many jobs will it create for the community? This is the kind of thing the Chamber of Commerce should be doing: Attracting businesses to our parish so there are more jobs here.
A great addition for Natchitoches. Can’t wait for the grand opening.
Congrats Justin and Cade! So happy for you.
Seems like a long time ago when you came to the SBDC with your concept. Hope we were able to help in some small way. And, I look forward to being a customer!
Best of luck.
