The Natchitoches Community Improvement Foundation Incorporated awarded a $5,000 grant to fund employees of the Natchitoches Parish School System or those that attended the free Praxis Workshops at Northwestern State University to take the Praxis Test to become certified. Approximately 34 people were awarded vouchers to take tests they needed to become certified.

This is such a help for teachers wanting to get certified. Those tests are expensive.
