Parish President Rick Nowlin wishes to notify the public that Ms. Debbie Tebbetts, Chief Deputy Registrar of Voters, will serve as temporary Registrar of Voters and will perform the duties of the registrar effective on January 1, 2019, until the new registrar is appointed, as provided in Louisiana Revised Statute 18:51. This action is due to the retirement of Ms. Debbie Waskom on December 31, 2018. As temporary registrar, Ms. Tebbetts will have the authority to register voters in accordance with law.

President Nowlin also wishes to express his appreciation to Ms. Waskom for her outstanding service and dedication to the Parish as its Registrar of Voters.
