Service League serves up crawfish at annual fundraiser

It was a comfortable evening in Natchitoches to hang out and eat some crawfish, pounds and pounds of them! The Service League of Natchitoches held its annual Crawfish Boil fundraiser April 5. They offered up trays of deliciously spicy mudbugs cooked by T Johnnys. Zydeco music and the aroma of crawfish drifted on the cool breeze through the courtyard area of the historic Prud’homme-Rouquier House. There was also jambalaya, and bottomless margaritas. This event was held in partnership with the Women’s Resource Center.

The Service league of Natchitoches is an organization committed to fostering the potential of women through volunteer service and support of cultural, historical, educational, and charitable endeavors.
