PCA students attend International Convention

Students from Provencal Christian Academy attended the International Student Convention (I.S.C) for Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E). The convention was in Warrensburg, Missouri at the University of Central Missouri on May 25-30. It consisted of approximately 1,700 students from all over the world competing in many events in the categories of academics, athletics, music, platform, and arts.

Students who participated included: Fisher Anderson, Madison Grace, Morgan Grace, Eden Hailey, Dylan Jennings, Ayden Jordan, MaryJane LeBlanc, Hunter Masters, Dalton Phillips, Elizabeth Sanders, Samantha Sanders, Dylan Vascocu, and Zach Vascocu.

Because of this event, PCA students were able to meet other students from all over the world and develop new friendships. Some of the students have never had the opportunity to go to Missouri so this opened the door for them to visit a new state. Competing at this level pushes the students to do their very best.

To attend the convention, students first had to place in the top six of their categories at the Regional Student Convention in March at Clinton, Mississippi. PCA placed 6th in ladies volleyball and 4th in men’s basketball. Several students also placed as top 12 finalists ( Social Studies Collection project: Madison Grace and Dylan Jennings; and Social Studies Research project: Eden Hailey, Knitting: Morgan Grace).
