The Natchitoches Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that took place Wednesday afternoon at 100 Williams Avenue (Fleur de Lis Apartments).
On July 24, 2019 around 2:30 p.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department responded to the Fleur de Lis Apartments in reference to reports of an individual being shot in the area. Upon officers arrival they located an adult male suffering from what is believed to be a single self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
The identity of the deceased is being with held at this time pending notification of the family.
