The barbers of the Silhouette Beauty and Barber Shop continued a long standing tradition in the community as they offered haircuts at no charge to young men before the start of the school year. The barbering team of Sylvester “Sly” Moss, Tremaine Walker and Marcus Ardison helped over 75 young men start the school year on a positive note Monday, August 5. The ladies of the beauty shop provided snacks to the young men while they waited for their haircuts.
People giving their time and talents to help our area’s young people is a wonderful example of what’s right and good about life in a small town. The men and women of the Silhouette Beauty and Barber Shop embody the kind of generous spirit that makes our community a better place to live. Well done ladies and gentlemen!
