Natchitoches’ very first Craft Beer & Wine Festival “TappedTober” is back for the second year on Oct. 12. It will be bigger and better than ever! This year organizers listened to feedback from attendees and the wine tasting will be expanded, new beer choices will be added, and more home brewers will be on site.
Louisiana’s own, Season 17 winner of American Idol, Laine Hardy will perform on the Natchitoches Riverfront Stage along with rising country star, Dustin Sonnier of Lafayette.
This all day affair will once again include college football on the big screen above the Riverfront Stage, a kids zone with many different activities, a variety of food trucks, fireworks, and a larger and more elaborate craft beer and wine tasting pavilion. VIP guests will be able to experience three exclusive VIP Areas (Reserved VIP Fireworks Zone, Special VIP Only tasting pavilion area fully catered with TVs and Seating, and Premium VIP “Front Row” Stage Access). The fun filled day of festivities makes this a customizable experience for the entire family to enjoy!
Due to the success of last year’s event and the awareness generated over the past year, the Northwestern Louisiana Cancer Foundation has achieved the first part of their goal by officially acquiring a van to transport their patients to and from treatment! In addition, the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center is well on its way to opening their state of the art Women’s Breast Center in Fall 2019. This year Tappedtober will continue to support these two missions as they strive to improve access to healthcare in our community.
TappedTober is powered by Jimmy Granger’s Natchitoches Ford Lincoln.
