The Wesley @ NSU Starts Another Year of Fun, Service, and Worship

The Wesley @ NSU held its first meeting of the 2019-2020 school year at the First United Methodist Church at 411 Second St in Natchitoches (right across from the donut shop) Aug. 20. The group of students, a mixture of upperclass Students and first year students, enjoyed pizza while they got to know each other and get introduced to the Wesley and its programs.

The Wesley @ NSU, a fixture of campus life since 1961, meets each Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church’s Crossroads worship area. Rev. Clair Carter is the Wesley’s director and has a full slate of activities planned for the year. Each meeting will feature worship and small group activities. Additionally, hikes in Kitsachie National Forest and Arkansas will be held. Wesley Members will also engage in a mission trip to assist the Louisiana Children’s Home. The next meeting, August 27, will be game night.

The Wesley @ NSU is a superb way for students at Northwestern State to take a break from their studies, meet some of their fellow students, have a good time, grow and make the most out of their college experience!
