Northwestern State University College of Education and Human Development Dean Dr. Kim McAlister shared with Rotary several new programs offered at NSU. The Social Work Department has a Title 4E initiative, and the School of Education has two initiatives Louisiana Gear Up for high school students, and an accelerated alternate certification program for professionals interested in becoming a certified teacher with a new flat rate pricing.
