The Cane River Stitchers will have a quilt and stitchery show on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 9 am – 3 pm at the Natchitoches Municipal Building located at 560 Second Street. The show will be from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The public is invited to attend and admission is free.

On display will be quilts and other stitched items made by members of the Cane River Stitchers. There will also be a variety of stitched items for sale made by members of the Cane River Stitchers including aprons, Christmas stockings, table runners, and hot pads. The Cane River Stitchers is a local sewing group that meets every month to share and learn ideas for improved sewing techniques. Guests and those interested in being a part of this group are always welcome.

Raffle tickets for a lovely queen size quilt (valued around $200) made by the Stitchers will also be available. The raffle tickets are only $1 a piece and the drawing will be held on Jan. 27. For any questions please call 318 471-3100.
