Natchitoches-NSU Multicultural Christmas Concert seeks participants

The 11th Annual Natchitoches-NSU Multicultural Christmas Concert will begin Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 6 pm at LSMSA’s Treen Auditorium, located at 715 University Parkway. The event is free and open to the public, but attendees are invited to bring donations to support Cane River Children’s Services.

Concert organizers are seeking participants to help celebrate diversity and the cheer of Christmas. Performers such as singers, musicians, dancers, or readers are invited to come celebrate this joyous time of the year with the Natchitoches community. All songs, readings, and instrumental performances, sacred or secular, which address Christmas, or the Christmas season are welcomed.

If you would like to participate, call (318) 357-4332 or email folklife@nsula.edu by Nov. 20.

All participants will perform without monetary compensation.

The event is sponsored by the Louisiana Folklife Center, NSU Center for Inclusion and Diversity and the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts.
