The Northwestern State baseball program has moved its Fall Super 60 Prospect Camp to January.
The one-day camp, originally scheduled for Nov. 17, instead will take place Jan. 11. The camp runs 10 a.m.-5 p.m. It is open to any and all players in the graduating classes of 2020-24. It will be held at Brown-Stroud Field, the home of Demon baseball.
Cost for position players is $150 and pitchers only cost is $100 per camper. Check-in begins at 9:30 the morning of the camp for position players. Campers who will only pitch can check in beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Each camper should bring his own equipment, including a glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet, running or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment he feels necessary. Please mark all equipment with the camper’s name.
The camp includes a pro style workout featuring a 60-yard dash, throwing from infield and outfield positions with radar gun readings and batting practice on the field. Campers will receive instruction from Northwestern State coaches and players as well as high school and junior college coaches.
Following the workouts, games will take place in the afternoon.
