I am Don Mims, a candidate for re-election as Councilman-at-Large for the City of Natchitoches. I want to thank you for allowing me to serve you on the council for the past four years. It has been an honor to represent you.  While this job is challenging at times, it is very rewarding.

I have a few simple standards that I follow that make me a more effective councilman.

Maintain a positive working relationship with the other members of the council and the mayor,

Be open minded on issues as they are brought before the council,

Follow the guidelines in our City charter,

Be available to all citizens of Natchitoches, and

Conduct myself in a manner that shows respect for the position and our City.

My primary objective as councilman for this community is to take pride in our city and improve the quality of life for its citizens.

I humbly ask for your support in my bid for re-election this April 4.
