According to a Task Force Official, on March 4 Adam Johnson (W/M 37) and Ashley Dowden (W/F 35) were taken into custody in Natchitoches by NMJDTF Agents in connection with a narcotics investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies.

As a result of this ongoing investigation NMJDTF agents conducted a search warrant at a residence in Natchitoches LA where agents seized approximately 8.7 lbs of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia consistent with the distribution of illegal narcotics. NMJDTF agents were also able to locate a stolen firearm which was confirmed stolen out of Natchitoches. This investigation is currently ongoing.

Adam Johnson and Ashley Dowden were charged and placed in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
