Dr. Patrice Moulton named president of Louisiana Fulbright Chapter

Dr. Patrice Moulton has been named President of the Louisiana Fulbright Chapter. The executive board includes Dr. Harald Leder, LSU; Dr. Charlotte Maheu-Vail, Tulane University; and Dr. Richard Shrubb, Louisiana Tech University. The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government. It is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. The Fulbright Program provides participants-chosen for their academic merit and leadership potential – with the opportunity to study, teach and conduct research, exchange ideas and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns. Dr. Moulton served as a Fulbright Specialist to Nepal in 2018, has been a member of the Fulbright Association since her return as a Fulbright Alumni, and has recently traveled to Thailand to serve as a Fulbright representative. She will be working as liaison to the Fulbright Association housed in Washington D.C. State Chapters provide Fulbright alumni and visiting Fulbrighters with diverse opportunities for networking, professional development, mentoring, cultural enrichment, and community service.
