LSMSA enters Phase Two of campus reopening plan

In accordance with Gov. John Bel Edwards’ reopening plan, LSMSA moved to Phase Two of the campus reopening plan on Monday, June 8.

The School is committed to ensuring the health and safety of faculty, staff, and students, and its primary focus is the continued achievement of students’ academic goals.

In Phase Two, the campus is now open to 50% capacity with limited visitation. Additional employees will be transitioned back to campus to increase the functionality of campus operations. However, with physical distancing and thorough, on-going cleanliness as top priorities, some areas will remain in a remote-office format. Communication via email and video conferencing is encouraged as much as possible. All individuals on campus are expected to wear face coverings when in public spaces.

Now in the second half of their programs, Summer School students and staff, as well as the staff and students of the EXCEL program, continue to work and learn in a virtual setting.
