Ms. Carmella Parker Kicks Off Her Campaign With A Meet & Greet

Ms. Carmella Parker officially began her candidacy for Natchitoches City Court Judge by hosting a Meet & Greet at City Park Wednesday, July 22. An eclectic group of supporters from around the community enjoyed grilled hot dogs, water and sodas while listening to music and getting to know the candidate.

Ms. Parker is a 1999 alumnae of the Louisiana Scholars’ College. She earned her law degree from Loyola in New Orleans in 2002. She also earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans in 2006. She has served under three Louisiana Attorneys General as an Assistant Attorney General. Ms. Parker currently serves an an Associate Professor and Coordinator of Outreach and Special Projects at Northwestern State University where among her other duties, she teaches courses in cyber business law and international comparative management. Ms. Parker has been a member of the Louisiana Bar for the past 17 years. This is her first election as a candidate.
