Santa is Coming to Natchitoches!

Miss Merry Christmas and the Christmas Belles joined Carmella McCart and her son Mason to clean and decorate the Santa Claus House for the new Christmas season. Also helping with the event was professional organizer Rachel Lyddy, with iOrganize.

The Santa House will be open from Dec. 6 – 23 from 6-8:30 pm Sunday-Friday and 5-8:30 pm on Saturdays.

Guidelines will be in place according to the CDC Guidelines to help keep everyone safe as they visit Santa Claus this year. There will be markers on the ground to keep visitors 6 feet apart for socially distancing while standing in line waiting to see Santa.

Miss Merry Christmas and the Christmas Belles will be checking temperatures and providing hand sanitizer as people enter the house. There will be a decorated picket fence around Santa’s chair to keep everyone at a safe distance.

Children will stand near Santa to have their photograph taken. Santa has informed us that this year Mrs. Claus will join him some nights to hear the many wishes from the children!

We are requiring everyone that visits inside the house to wear a mask to help keep all safe and well for the holiday season. Remember, if you are planning to visit the Santa Claus House on a Saturday, you will need to purchase an armband to enter the riverbank area. Armbands are not required on the other evenings. As always, your visit to the Santa House is free of charge. We look forward to seeing you soon at the Santa Claus House!
