William Fox Rush, known as “Willie”, passed peacefully at the Cypress, TX home of his sister, Donna Rush Acosta, on July 20, 2020 after losing his battle to cancer.

Willie was predeceased by both his parents, W.A. “Dub” Rush and Sally Johnson Rush and his sister, Larke Rush of Natchitoches, LA.

Willie is lovingly remembered by his sister, Donna Rush Acosta, and her fiancé, Tim Parma, her children, Sally and Braden Acosta of Cypress, TX, his nephew, Brian Aaron of Los Lunas, NM and a host of wonderful cousins on the Rush and Johnson family sides.

Although Willie had no children of his own, he is survived by his loving dog, “Tank”.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to honor Willie’s wishes to make donations to the ASPCA.org, WoundedWarriorProject.org or the Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home @ lumcfs.org.
