City Council recognizes CASA of Central Louisiana during Child Abuse Prevention Month

The Natchitoches City Council passed a proclamation at its April 12 meeting declaring April 2021 as National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Advocate Supervisor Iris Lily explained to the Council that CASA of Central Louisiana is dedicated to serving the abused and neglected children of Natchitoches, Red River and Sabine Parishes.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to help people across the country understand that safe, stable, and nurturing relationships and environments are necessary to ensure that children thrive.
