Community rallies to make boxes for Operation Christmas Child

Dawson Jordan had a great time at the Natchitoches Farmers Market making a ribbon dancer at the Operation Christmas Child booth. He is going to place his ribbon dancer in a shoebox for a two-four year old boy and add toiletries, school supplies, more toys and a stuffed animal. These shoeboxes go to children in third world countries who have never received a gift. The children will be told about the gospel and each child will receive a book about the gospel in their own language. The shoeboxes will be collected the third week of November at First Baptist Church in Natchitoches. To get your group, organization, school, businesses, church or as an individual involved check out Samaritanspurse.org or call Brenda Ingram at 318-471-9415.
