NPTCC Honors the Life of their PTO President, Juanita Brown-Virece

With a heavy heart, Natchitoches Parish Technical and Career Center principal, Bobby Benjamin, announces the passing of PTO President, Juanita Brown-Virece. Mrs. Brown-Virece served as PTO president from 2013 until her death on Sunday, July 25, 2021. A native of Natchitoches, Mrs. Brown-Virece was a permanent fixture at NPTCC.

According to Mr. Benjamin, “She was our lifeline to the community when we didn’t have one. Mrs. Nita, Nita B, or the “Concession Lady,” as the students called her, was a welcomed addition to NPTCC. Mrs. Virece was a major part of the NPTCC family. Inside and outside of school. NPTCC lost an awesome advocate for our students, but I also lost a sister. She will be forever missed and her family will always be in our prayers.”

Mrs. Brown-Virece was known for her kindness, quick wit, selflessness, and her love for her family and friends. She will truly be missed.
