  1. Pete Gregory begins 60th year at NSU. One of the few people we knew when we moved to Natchitoches in 1971 was Pete Gregory. He was a college friend of my husband, Dr. Reginald Wheat, who was very interested in history, especially Civil War. My children got to know Pete & Jeanette when they visited Pete it see his collection of Arrowheads & other Indian artifacts. Along with many years of knowledge which he shared with his students & friends, he is hard-working, & very Humble! He has kept up & added to the Williamson Museum most of his career. Congratulations to Pete & his family for the start of his 60th year at NSU. What a jewel Pete Gregory has been & will be fir NSU!
