NCHS basketball hosts annual City of Lights Classic

A local Thanksgiving week sports tradition resumes today as Natchitoches Central High School hosts the annual City of Lights Classic basketball tournament on campus.

All games in both boys and girls divisions will be held at The Teepee, home of the powerful NCHS basketball programs. Some of the stronger teams from around the state are involved in this year’s event.

The Lady Chiefs and Chiefs will play tonight and Tuesday night.

Today’s schedule:

1:30, girls, Assumption vs. Captain Shreve

3:00, girls, Mansfield vs. Airline

4:30, boys, Zachary vs. Bossier

6:00, girls, NCHS vs. Bossier

7:30, boys, NCHS vs. Pineville

Tuesday’s schedule:

1:30, girls, Airline vs. Assumption

3:00, girls, Captain Shreve vs. Bossier

4:30, boys, Bossier vs. Ruston

6:00, girls, NCHS vs. Mansfield

7:30, boys, NCHS vs. Zachary

Tickets, $8 each, are available at the door.
