With the growing number of breast cancer patients in the nation and in Natchitoches Parish, there is a constant need to be aware of the depth of breast cancer and preventative measures against the disease.
In collaboration with the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center (NRMC), the Krewe of Excellence will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk/Run on Saturday, Oct. 1 in the City Park on Amulet Street. Open to the public, the walk will provide attendees with a wealth of information on breast cancer, a period of exercise and fellowship.
In the midst of football season, the theme for the walk/run is , “Scoring Against Breast Cancer.” This event is not a fundraiser. More information is forthcoming!
