Natchitoches Police arrest individual for second degree robbery and aggravated assault with a firearm

The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested Broderick Brown Jr. (B/M, 45 y.o.a. of Natchitoches) for a second degree robbery and an aggravated assault that occurred last Thursday morning.

Natchitoches Police Department were flagged down in the 100 block of Southbend Drive on March 9 around 9:20 am in reference to a robbery that had just occurred.  The victim told officers that he and Broderick Brown Jr. got into a verbal argument which led to a physical altercation.  The victim said that during the fight he was hit several times and robbed of his wallet.  Broderick Brown Jr. then left the area and the victim was helped back to his residence.  

A short time later the victim was approached again by Broderick Brown Jr. who threatened to kill him while he was armed with a rifle.  

Broderick Brown Jr. was located that afternoon and was placed in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center where he is charged with second degree robbery and aggravated assault with a firearm.
