The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating multiple reports of illegal dumping in various areas across the parish. Deputies have been patrolling these areas and are urging the public to be mindful of their waste disposal practices.
In response to these offenses, the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office intends to issue citations to offenders once they are identified. Sheriff’s deputies are encouraging everyone to properly dispose of their waste and avoid contributing to the ongoing issue of illegal dumping in our community.
Additionally, the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office is reminding residents who are traveling to local compactor stations to ensure that items in their vehicles are properly secured. Loose items that are not contained may end up flying out of vehicles while traveling, adding to the problem of littering and illegal dumping.
Residents are urged to report any suspicious activity related to illegal dumping to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-357-7852.
