Two structures destroyed by fire in Campti

 
Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, and Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #9 with mutual aid assistance from Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #3 were dispatched by NATCOM 911 Center on May 7 around 3:17 am to a reported structure fire in the 200 block of Lake Street in Campti according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
 
While units were responding to the scene, NATCOM 911 Center learned the fire had also spread to a nearby unoccupied residence.
 
Deputies say both structures were a total loss. There were no reported injuries.
 
Investigators with the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #9 in the investigation as they attempt to identify the origin and cause of the fire.
