Two people were transported to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries following a multi-vehicle crash on La. Highway 1 in Natchez on the night of June 26.

According to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 9:45 p.m. within the Natchez city limits, just north of La. Highway 119.

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s deputies, Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS and Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District No. 5 responded to the scene.

The roadway was temporarily blocked while emergency crews worked the crash, with traffic diverted onto La. Highway 119 and then La. Highway 494.

All lanes reopened at approximately 10:29 p.m.
