Over the past three months, the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) has continued its aggressive enforcement efforts targeting the distribution and trafficking of illegal narcotics throughout Natchitoches Parish.

During this period, DEU agents arrested 62 individuals on charges ranging from active warrants to serious felony offenses. Through proactive investigations and enforcement operations, agents also seized:

10 illegally possessed firearms

Approximately 43 pounds of high-grade marijuana

13 grams of methamphetamine

3 grams of cocaine

1 gram of heroin

35 ecstasy tablets

1 gram of fentanyl

Additional misdemeanor quantities of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia

These enforcement efforts reflect the continued commitment of the NPSO Drug Enforcement Unit to identifying, investigating, and apprehending those responsible for trafficking illicit narcotics and contributing to criminal activity within our parish.
