A single-vehicle crash on La. Hwy 494 near Vienna Bend resulted in minor injuries Tuesday evening, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 6:31 p.m., Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1300 block of La. Hwy 494 after reports of the crash.

Witnesses reported observing a female crawling out of the vehicle window. Deputies arrived on scene and found one person suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

The injured person was transported to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center for treatment and was later transferred to a regional trauma center for further evaluation and treatment.

Traffic was reduced to one lane while the scene remained active. Both lanes were later reopened.
