
Natchitoches Parish District Attorney Billy Joe Harrington announced that a 12-person jury has returned guilty verdicts on all five felony charges following a three-day trial in Division A of the 10th Judicial District Court.
Carlous Armstrong, 47, of Natchitoches, was found guilty of three counts of second-degree kidnapping, one count of aggravated second-degree battery, and one count of aggravated assault upon a peace officer.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Bray Williams and Assistant District Attorney Jason Methvin on behalf of the Natchitoches Parish District Attorney’s Office.
Judge Desiree Dyess presided over the case and has scheduled sentencing for Aug. 25.
