The City of Natchitoches has concluded its nine-week Summer Youth Program.

During the program, teens from across the community worked alongside employees in departments throughout the city, gaining experience, learning about the day-to-day operations of local government and contributing to the community.

Mayor Ronnie Williams Jr. and the City of Natchitoches thanked the participants for their service and wished them success as they return to school.

The City of Natchitoches Community and Economic Development Department also recognized the students, noting they received guidance on money management, consistently signing their names and other life lessons while completing their summer work.
