The City of Natchitoches advises the public that the intersection of Thomas Street and Prather Street will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 12 beginning at 8 AM. 

Thomas Street will be closed from Payne Street to Sanford Street, and Prather Street will be closed from Amulet Street to Thomas Street.

The road closure is necessary to allow the City of Natchitoches Utility Department to complete repairs in the area.  The roadway will remain closed until all repairs have been completed.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and exercise caution when traveling in the area.
