District 1 will feature Barbara Page and Lee Waskom. Both candidates qualified without party affiliation.
District 8 will feature three Democratic candidates: Chris Bush, Linda Davidson and J D Samuel Jr.
The remaining School Board races are now unopposed.
Tan’Keia Palmer is unopposed in District 2; Dorothy McGaskey in District 3; Billy Benefield Jr. in District 4; Lela Harvey in District 5; Jennifer “Reba” Phelps in District 6; Chad Fredieu in District 7; Micah Nicholson in District 9; and Kevin Warner in District 10.
District 11 also became unopposed after Brandi “Bebe” Carpenter withdrew from the race, leaving Dane Terrell as the only remaining candidate.
That leaves voters with contested School Board races only in Districts 1 and 8 on the Nov. 3 ballot.
