
Members of the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office joined deputies from the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office and DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office at Marthaville School for its 25th Anniversary September 11th Remembrance Ceremony.
The ceremony honored and remembered the nearly 3,000 lives lost during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, as well as the first responders, law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency personnel, military members and citizens who demonstrated bravery and selflessness on that day.
The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office expressed appreciation to the students, faculty, staff and administration of Marthaville School for hosting the ceremony and honoring those who lost their lives, those who served and the families impacted by the events of September 11, 2001.
The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to stand alongside fellow law enforcement officers and the Marthaville School community in remembrance.
The office said the nation continues to remember September 11, 2001, and the unity that brought Americans together in the days that followed.
