The City of Natchitoches is advising residents that fire hydrant flushing and flow testing will be conducted throughout East Natchitoches Sept. 21-25

During this process, fire hydrants will be fully opened to flush water lines and conduct flow testing. This routine maintenance helps clear sediment from the water system while also allowing crews to evaluate hydrant performance and water flow.

The City appreciates the public’s patience and understanding while this important maintenance is completed.
