Candidates and candidate representatives for November’s upcoming election for US Senator, Louisiana’s Fourth District Congressional seat, City Court Judge and Public Service Commissioner made their case at the Natchitoches Candidate Forum held Friday, September 25 at the Natchitoches Civic Center

Kallie Bourgeois, a senior communications major at NSU and editor of the student newspaper The Current Sauce, served as the event’s moderator, asking each candidate or candidate’s representative a series of questions to elicit their views on different issues facing the voters.

The forum was sponsored by Ed Trust in Louisiana, the NAACP Louisiana State Conference and Power Coalition for Equity and Justice.
