The Natchitoches Parish School Board is encouraging families to use PlaySafe Louisiana to help students recognize warning signs of online predators and make safer choices while gaming and using social media.

PlaySafe Louisiana is an interactive game that helps students recognize common online predator tactics through realistic gaming and social media scenarios.

In less than 15 minutes, students can explore 10 quick, real-life scenarios, practice recognizing warning signs and knowing when to stop and report, and learn how to make safer choices online.

NPSB said the resource also provides an opportunity for parents to start a conversation with their children about online safety and the importance of protecting themselves while gaming and using social media.
