Shred Event Took In Thousands of Pounds of Paper
Natchitoches Parish Library

The Natchitoches Parish Library’s Fall Community Shred Event helped residents and local businesses destroy thousands of pounds of documents on Oct. 2, the library said. The semiannual event pairs the library’s own routine document disposal with a scheduled visit from an industrial shredding truck, which the public can use free of charge. The next shred event is expected in late April, after tax season. Details will be posted on the library’s social media and in its monthly newsletter at news.natlib.org.
