Natchitoches Christmas Festival seeks volunteers for new Children’s Village during centennial celebration

The Natchitoches Main Street Program is seeking volunteers to help bring a new Children’s Village to life as part of the 100th anniversary celebration of the Natchitoches Christmas Festival.

The Children’s Village will be a free, interactive Kid Zone designed for children ages 2 to 10. The new addition to the festival will feature Christmas-themed activities, games and interactive experiences.

Volunteers are needed to help operate the Christmas-themed obstacle course, lead crafts and activities, assist with games, guide children through the Kid Zone and help ensure the event runs smoothly.

No special skills or experience are required. Organizers are looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children and want to contribute to the historic celebration.

Student organizations, youth groups, churches, community organizations and individual volunteers are encouraged to participate.

The Children’s Village is being introduced as part of the festival’s centennial celebration, offering young visitors an opportunity to take part in activities designed specifically for them.
