The new deputies will immediately begin in-service training and orientation to prepare for their respective assignments. Five of the deputies are scheduled to attend the Alexandria Regional Police Academy in January to further their law enforcement training and meet Louisiana Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) requirements.
“We are proud to welcome these seven new deputies to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office,” said Sheriff Stuart Wright. “Each has made a commitment to public service and the safety of our communities. We look forward to providing them with the training, guidance, and support necessary to become professional and dedicated members of our agency. We wish each of them a successful and rewarding career.”
The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office continues its commitment to recruiting, training, and retaining qualified personnel who demonstrate professionalism, integrity, compassion, and a strong desire to serve the public.
Members of the NPSO Human Resources Division are assisting the new deputies throughout their transition into the Sheriff’s Office, helping ensure they receive the resources, information, and support necessary as they begin their new assignments.
Sheriff Wright and the entire NPSO family congratulate these deputies on this important milestone and extend their best wishes as they begin a new chapter of service to the citizens of Natchitoches Parish.
