The City of Natchitoches welcomed mayors and municipal leaders from across Louisiana as the Fall 2026 Mid-Sized Cities Conference officially began Wednesday morning.

The two-day conference brings together representatives from mid-sized cities throughout the state to participate in workshops, exchange ideas, and discuss opportunities and challenges facing their communities.

Throughout the conference, attendees will have opportunities to collaborate with fellow municipal leaders, share experiences, and explore approaches to issues affecting cities across Louisiana.

In addition to workshops and discussions, the conference includes activities allowing visiting officials to experience the attractions and hospitality of Natchitoches.
