Rotarian Laurie Morrow welcomed the owners of Nichols, Lauren and Shawn Moore, at the October 27 meeting of Rotary. Lauren provided the background for how the first Nichols store was founded and opened in DeQuincy in 1914. The Nichols business passed from one generation to the next, and the growth and success was based on the specific needs of the customers, the community, and the individual friendly customer service provided. The Natchitoches Nichols store is tentatively scheduled to open in December.
