The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office is pleased to welcome Deputy Brandon Jackson, a Louisiana P.O.S.T.-certified law enforcement officer, back home to serve the citizens of Natchitoches Parish.
Deputy Jackson, a native of Natchitoches, began his law enforcement career at the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center, where he gained valuable experience in corrections and public safety. He later continued his career with the Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office, serving in the Patrol Division and gaining additional experience in law enforcement operations, community policing, and responding to calls for service.
Having strong ties to his hometown, Deputy Jackson expressed a desire to return to Natchitoches Parish and continue his law enforcement career serving the community where he was raised.
Deputy Jackson recently took the official Oath of Office and was sworn in as a Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputy by Natchitoches Parish Clerk of Court David Stamey.
Since his swearing-in ceremony, personnel with the NPSO Human Resources Office have been assisting Deputy Jackson with the transition to his new assignment, including agency orientation, administrative requirements, and familiarization with departmental policies and procedures.
Deputy Jackson will be assigned to the NPSO Patrol Operations Bureau, where he will work alongside fellow deputies patrolling parish roadways, responding to calls for service, enforcing state laws, and protecting the citizens of Natchitoches Parish.
Sheriff Stuart Wright welcomed Deputy Jackson back to the agency and expressed his appreciation for his commitment to public service.
“We are pleased to welcome Deputy Brandon Jackson back to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office,” said Sheriff Wright. “It is always encouraging when someone who began their law enforcement career with our agency returns home with additional training, knowledge, and experience. Brandon’s decision to return to Natchitoches Parish demonstrates his commitment to serving the community where he grew up. We believe his previous experience in corrections and patrol operations will be an asset to our agency and the citizens we serve.”
Sheriff Wright added, “Law enforcement is more than a profession; it is a commitment to public service, protecting our communities, and making a positive difference in the lives of others. We look forward to Deputy Jackson joining our Patrol Operations Bureau and wish him a safe, rewarding, and successful career with the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.”
